Friday and Saturday Workouts

I have done nothing really to big here the last couple of days, but will be back at it on Sunday with some heavy strength and cp battery testers. I had alot going on Friday and Saturday, so kept to my plan of hitting some powerlifting movements, and overall I do like getting some of these sessions in as it def tailors to my weaknesses, with the idea of getting stronger in these lifts, but also helping me get some of pure strength movements up in the meantime. I have been doing some dynamic days in the powerlifting concept, and I really like hitting these, as they attack my weaknesses, and also gives me some time to fool around with some programming for powerlifting essentials, and also be able to test some different movements out for my peoples programming. We have gotten some new toys in with being a power rack a couple months ago, and also some equipment for our powerlifting class. We picked up some speciality barbells, and some equipment as well for some powerlifting needs.

I got some quick work in on Saturday, as I had a day planned with the girlfriend in Boston, so got alot of my programming done, and also some of my assessment modules done, which I am taking a class online, where I am beginning to assess people in caliper readings, physical assessment, movement screening, and work capacity testing.

Friday, August 31st, 2012 Workout:
A. Board Presses off 2 blocks:
7 sets of 2 at the following weight:
135 lbs-155 lbs-185 lbs-205 lbs-215 lbs-225 lbs-235 lbs
B. Dynamic Bench Press @ 135 lbs x 10 sets x 3 reps @ 40 lbs of chains
C. Handstand Push Up Kipping Practice

Saturday, September 1st, 2012 Workout:
I got some speciality barbells in, so gave some camber good mornings a try for the first time.
A. Camber Good Mornings, work to a moderate set of 1:
95 lbs x 5 reps x 3 sets, 115 lbs x 3 reps x 2 sets, 135 lbs x 3 reps x 2 sets, 155 lbs x 2 reps x 2 sets, 185 lbs x 1 rep x 2 sets
B. Box Squats @ 185 lbs x 10 sets x 2 reps @ 40 lbs of chains..
