Friday Workout of the Day

Today was a pretty good day of training. I hit some overhead squats for the first time in months, and honestly it felt pretty good.. I worked up to a heavy single, but I could have gone at least 20 lbs heavier or more, but just cut it off at a heavy single. It does feel good to hit 265 lbs, and say it was pretty easy, and also being able to jerk it overhead is not the problem anymore… Like I said it feels good to hit something that before was pretty heavy, and now be able to hit it, and say damn that was pretty easy…

I also hit some muscle ups, and today they felt much better overall…

Friday, September 7th, 2012 Workout:
A. Work to a heavy single in the overhead squat,
Worked up to 265 lbs…with ease…!
B1. Front Squat @ 240 lbs x 3 reps x 7 sets, rest 30 seconds
B2. Muscle Ups x 3 reps x 7 sets, rest 30 seconds
C1. Thrusters @ 95 lbs x 21 reps x 3 sets, rest 1:30
C2. Strict Pronated Pull Ups @ 30×0, AMRAP x 3 sets, rest 1:30
