Are You Following Paleo? I will be documenting what I will be eating on a daily basis and showing pictures of what I am eating throughout the day. Here is the first installment of What is Kevin Eating?


I. First Installment of What is Kevin Eating These Days?:
About 3 months ago, my way of living and and eating began to take a back seat in my life. I was falling off the Paleo, and began consuming on occasion more gluten products and dairy products. During this stretch, I noticed a serious rise in cortisol levels, stress levels, sleeping problems, and frequent injuries. It seemed my body was telling me to stop eating these types of foods, but I ignored them due to laziness and not wanting to go to the grocery store. However, over the last 60 days, I have dialed back in on my nutrition and began following a Paleo Way of Lifestyle. I have also taken the advice of Dr. Mike Molloy and up my intake of fish products to almost 3 days a week. I have also began to take supplements of straight DHA and Cod Liver Fish Oil on occasion if I am not following my three days of getting fish into my system. Over those last 60 days, I have noticed a difference in my body composition, sleeping problems have disappeared, my frequent injuries have disappeared and I am recovering better from my workouts. I also have been dealing with the stress of owning a business and my heavy work load as an athlete much better over these last two months. Before my debacle as a healthier eater, I was a strict Paleo Eater for my 2 years, but I feel I overlooked the power of how important eating is to sports performance and also overall happiness as a person. So, if you feel that you are the only person, who struggles with sticking to a strict diet or at least a moderate attempt to eat a healthy style of living, I am here to tell you as a CrossFitter, Coach, Trainer, and Athlete, I struggle with the same things that you guys struggle with everyday as well. Remember, to keep your head up and just try your best with your daily eating. You will only see benefits from eating a Paleo Way of Living and I am someone who can vouch for that in my own daily experiences.
