"Paleo Benchmark Re-Test"(3.20.2011)

I. Paleo Challenge Re-Test:
The 30 Day Paleo Challenge is coming to an end this week. How is it going for you? We tested the workouts and took our measurements on Monday, February 21st, 2011. We will be re-tesing the Benchmarks on Wednesday. March 23rd, 2011. We will keep the same format as before, by keeping an open gym throughout the day. More details on gym hours on Wednesday will be posted on Monday. Make sure you make some time and get in on Wednesday to re-test your benchmarks and re-take your measurements.

1. Max Deadlift
2. Max Burpees in 2:00 Minutes
3. AMRAP 5 Minutes of:
3 Pull-Ups
6 Push-Ups
9 Squats
4. 500 m Row Time Trial
II. CrossFit Games Open Qualifiers:
The 2011 CrossFit Games have started as you all know and we have been doing the workouts in the gym the last few days. I just want to give a big shout out to everyone who participated in the first workout and cannot be happier with the results. Do no worry about your score, and just have fun with it. At the end of the day, it is just a workout, and you are in here for more than just competing. You are at Vagabond CrossFit to become healthier, learn some new things, and overall be around a good community. I also want to give a shout out to everyone who cheered on their fellow Vagabonds and for the support you gave to the people competing.
III. Rest Day on Sunday, March 20th, 2011:
Everyone will be getting a rest day this Sunday from the gym. However, do some active recovery while you are at home. Do some stretching, go for a walk, go for a light run, stay active and be happy. See you all on Monday!
