Today was a pretty basic day with some aerobic training, and all of it was done on the Rowing Machine. I hate the rowing machine, as it is one of those machines that I just do not feel like being on for short period of times, and rather sit on it for 40 minutes compared to 2 minutes. I felt pretty good throughout the 10 sets, and kept at the same pace for all 10 sets for the 500 meters of rowing. I calculated out my goal and wanted to stay between 1:45 and 1:50 for my 500 meter row repeats.
On a side note, I will be heading out to California for an OPT Conference, and will be three days of great information and great communication with other like mind individuals. Also, on the fourth day we will be doing OPTATHLON, which is 6 event test of different skills, which they test every year, which I find pretty cool, since it is true testing at its best, because if this was a legit competition, it would be tested, re tested, and you could actually have real results, and timelines, of how people improve over time. Looking forward to competing, and know I will not place high, but I know it will be great experience.
