I. The Partner Workout is Back at Vagabond, Saturday, September 11th, 2010 @ 10:30 am:
Just giving everyone a heads up for the team event that will be going down at Vagabond CrossFit on Saturday, September 11th, 2010. This will be a partner workout, where you will be setup with a partner and you will have to complete certain tasks as fast as possible. There will be two events that will take place within the hour. The start time for the Team Event will be 10:30 am. This Team Workout should last less than an hour, so I encourage all Vagabonds to please attend this event. The Top Team, no matter the scaling, will receive 10 Paleo Kits free of charge. There also might be another surprise prize to the winning team as well. Please come and support Vagabond CrossFit in this great team workout. There is nothing like a good partner workout in the CrossFit World. You get to suffer alongside your fellow Vagabond and get to do a great workout in the meantime.
II. “Partner Workout of the Day”:
*Event 1: You will work with your partner and complete the following movements as fast as possible. Both partners can work at the same time, but they must be the same movement.*
“100 Something”
10 x 100 m Plate Carries( 45 lbs/25 lbs), each partner must complete 5 trips
100 Burpees
100 Box Jumps
100 Push Press(95 lbs/65 lbs)
*Event 2: There will be a ten minute lapse in between the two events. However, there is a catch to this rest period. If you finish first, then you will have more a rest time and be rewarded for finishing the fastest. The ten minute rest time will begin when the last team finishes Event 1.
“Running Frenzy”
10 x 200 m Sprints, Each partner will complete 5 trips.
