Thursday Workout of the Day

Today was a good workout, and good to hit something aerobic, and get something long in, and test my ability. This was not a hard workout, but just long, and at the end felt like I had gone through a 10 mile run or so. We will so how everything goes. At the end of the workout, I practiced my kipping handstand push ups, as I know some sort of handstand push up will be implemented into regionals, and due to my shoulder injury and lack of prep for this movement, I will suffer in any domain with handstand push ups. However, over the last couple of weeks, I am feeling more confident with them, and just trying to bite away at them over time. If I keep practicing, I am confident they will improve over time, and let’s just see where it goes from here.

This is the first time in awhile, that I am excited to workout again, and feels like I did when I was in the garage, and also in Brockton, and just enjoying my time training by myself and hitting my workouts up. At the end of the day, it is about having fun, and there is no better way to have fun than to challenge yourself, and see where it takes you.

Now everyday I look forward to my workouts and I have a new drive, which feels good, and nothing can take this away now. I am back on track and just going to keep going. The only thing that will stop me is injury, and hopefully I stay healthy over the next 8 weeks to compete in regionals!
