*First Workout on Strength and Conditioning Program*

This was my first time doing deadlifts in a strength workout, since last year when I partially tore my hamstring. I have been very hesitant and almost scared of performing deadlifts since then, but I got over the hump today and felt pretty good. I kept the deadlifts at a medium weight to concentrate on form. I have a tendency to have awful deadlift form and sacrifice my well being, over trying to lift the heaviest weight possible. I am taking a different approach this time around, and just going to work my self back up to where I was before. Deadlift was one of my strongest lifts, pre-injury, pulling almost 500 lbs at a bodyweight of 170 lbs. However, my eago got in the way of my coaching, and I paid the price last year for it. This time around I will be taking videos of myself and watching my technique for each lift. Overall pretty good day!
