Today was a pretty good day, but much tougher than I thought. Also started the day off pretty bad with feeling kind of shitty, and also having some serious soreness from butterfly pull ups a couple days ago, in which, I have not done a dynamic pull up since May at the Regionals. Also my calves were pretty sore as well from the double unders yesterday, so I kind of went into the workout with a negative attitude and very low energy. I left the workout with a decent power snatch, and a 5 lbs pr, but my kipping handstand push ups were a little disappointing. However, I will take one thing from kipping handstand push up, that these felt much better, and I did a whole lot of pressing before, and the reason my numbers were low as well not because of failure, but because I lost control of the movement, and fell off the wall. I def have at least 20 to 25 handstand push ups in me in a row when I am good to go, and have a little better control by not falling off the wall. I am going to chalk this up as a win, as I was not feeling good, and still came out with a decent number of my power snatch, and I think in time, if I can fix a couple more things with first pull, this number will keep rising!
Wednesday, August 22nd, 2012 Workout:

B2. Close Grip Bench Press @ 20×1, 5 reps @ mod weight x 8 sets, rest 1 min

These could have went better, if I did not fall off the way. My new goal is to hit 20 plus of these in a row within 2 months, which I def think is doable..
