Wednesday, June 8th, 2011, Workout of the Day

*I have decided to take a step back from my training and really concentrate on the business end of Vagabond CrossFit and just make sure I am maintaining my fitness level. I will hit a double once a week, but my sole concentration during these next few months is to appropriately program what will keep me safe and also fresh for my clients. On days I do metabolic conditioning workouts, I will solely focus on conditioning workouts. My strength days, will solely be strength days and have full concentration on the strength movement that I will be doing. My life has become hectic, and sometimes have to keep in my mind what is important in my life. My family, business, and loved ones are foremost the most important things in my life. My fitness and training will have to take a backseat to these things in my life, and I am happy I have made this decision. Over the 6 months, I have pushed myself to the brink of almost hating to workout. I am training like a professional athlete, but not getting paid to do it. I have come to conclusion, that I am elite in some aspects of fitness, but have to realize that somethings just are not in the books. I am happy I qualified for Regionals, but the scope of my health over the last few months have been shady and have been dealing with alot of health issues over the last 3 months. One instance, I could have some serious complications due to a serious degree of infection in my leg, and have to take a step back and realize what is important in my life. My clients, business, and Vagabond as a whole is very important to me, and if I am not healthy, none of this will matter!*
