First Workout of the Day:

135 lbs Thrusters x 12 reps
7 Burpee Pull-Ups

AMRAP 10 Minutes of:
5 Deadlifts @ 275 lbs
3 Push Press @ 175 lbs
Prowler Push @ 236 lbs

The last few weeks have just been crazy busy and the time to fit in a strength program is getting harder and harder. I have stepped up the heavy metabolic conditioning workouts, hopefully trying to elicit a stimulus of some sort of building up strength and power like you do during a strength workout. I am keeping the repetitions at a low volume throughout the conditioning workout at one time, to elicit a similiar response you get with a strength program. This is a trial run program and will see how it will go. I have also decided that to concentrate on strength, I am going to have to dedicate at least one day to strength on its own. I will choose different, but particuliar movements I need to work on to better myself as an athlete.
