Wednesday Workout of the Day
Today was overall a good day, but still have alot of weaknesses I need to work on over the next year. I am not truly excited about the next couple of months, as I am looking more forward to see where I am going to be next year, after a serious program, and actually having a plan in place. Overall I felt pretty good with everything, and my pull ups during this workout was pretty good and went unbroken, and felt I could have gotten well over 50. Regular pull ups are not to bad, but chest to bar are something I will need to work in time, since I can do them, but the major thing is I can get there, but being able to hit my chest everytime, and also deciding if I should use regular kip or butterfly is the question. I rip my hands terribly on butterflies about 90 percent of the time, and just cannot afford to be ripping on a weekly or daily basis, as it takes away from my other training. However, we will see how things go, and just looking forward to see if I make any progress over the next couple of months.
After my workouts were complete, I did some skill work with Coach Mike Dillon on free handstands, and kipping handstand push ups. After my workouts, I was putting together sets of 3 or 4 of the kipping handstand push up, and felt pretty good with them at times.
