Week 2: Day 1: Monday, June 11th, 2012
Today was a day I was just not feeling it before hitting this workout.. However, after getting into it, I felt pretty good, and everything felt pretty well… These type of workouts, take at least two hours or more, since there is alot of rest time, and alot of sets to perform throughout the workout. I really do like them, because this would be stuff I would not do on my own. I like being pushed, and like performing the movements that I am, because from my own tracking, these movements due help me get stronger in the long run.
Monday, June 11th, 2012 Workout:
A. Power Snatch @ 85% @ 170 lbs Cluster… 1.1.1 x 3 sets, rest 3 minutes.
B1. Back Squat @ 20×1 x 8-10 reps x 5 sets, rest 3 mins
195 x 10/ 215 x 10/225 x 10/240 x 8/245 x 8
B2. Weighted Parallel Ring Pull Ups x 4-5 reps x 5 sets, all performed @ 18 lbs..
These were much tougher than expected, but something I need to work.
C1. DB Flat Bench Press @ 30×0 x 8-12 reps, rest 2 mins
65 lbs x 12 reps/ 65 lbs x 12 reps/70 lbs x 8 reps/70 lbs x 8 reps
C2. GH Raises x 12-15 reps x 4 sets, all reps performed @ 15 reps
D. Airdyne Sprint x 10 seconds x 10 sets @ all out effort.
